چکیده

JET H-mode plasma discharge 53212 simulation during the pellet fueling operation in presence of an internal transport barrier is carried out using 1.5D BALDUR integrated predictive modelling code. The instability ITB formation with injection a tokamak investigated. These simulations use neoclassical model and anomalous (either multimode or mixed Bohm/gyro-Bohm core model). boundary condition described at top pedestal, which calculated theoretically based on combination magnetic flow shear stabilization pedestal width scaling infinite-n ballooning pressure gradient model. toroidal calculation viscosity velocity It was found that shallower does not destroy ITB, locating mainly between r/a = 0.8 0.9. Moreover, center region (0.4<r/a<0.6) effective electron thermal diffusivities do change ablation time. However, decrease after ablation, means can improve barrier.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Runaway electron generation during plasma shutdown by killer pellet injection

Tokamak discharges are sometimes terminated by disruptions that may cause large mechanical and thermal loads on the vessel. To mitigate disruption-induced problems it has been proposed that “killer” pellets could be injected into the plasma in order to safely terminate the discharge. Killer pellets enhance radiative energy loss and thereby lead to rapid cooling and shutdown of the discharge. Bu...

Lithium Pellet Injection Experiments on the Alcator C-mod Tokamak Lithium Pellet Injection Experiments on the Alcator C-mod Tokamak Lithium Pellet Injection Experiments on the Alcator C-mod Tokamak

A pellet enhanced performance (PEP) mode, showing significantly reduced core transport, is regularly obtained after the injection of deeply penetrating lithium pellets into Alcator C-Mod discharges. These transient modes, which typically persist about two energy confinement times, are characterized by a steep pressure gradient (p <; a/5) in the inner third of the plasma, indicating the presence...

ECRH Results during Current Ramp-up and Post-Pellet Injection in FTU Plasma

Recent ECRH experiments in FTU have provided new results in two plasma scenarios, both characterized by the absence of the sawtooth activity and by flat or reversed q profiles. The first is the current ramp-up phase where low density plasmas have been heated up to high electron temperature. When the heating is localized on the plasma axis, the high additional power density has produced the evid...
